"on the street where i live"

well as i have mentioned before, my current accomodation is not the best place to be. Complained enough about the room already and well the crappiness of having 12 flatmates especially when u have only 2 fridge. but interesting enough, the street on which the flat faces is worth commenting on. My window opens to a street called Cowgate, it is by far the noisiest experience i've ever had my whole life (as yet) . Along cowgate there are numerous pubs .. i know wut u all are thinking my now "oh my gawd.. the noise!" unbrearable.. but honestly its not the pounding vibration and the sound of hip hop music that annoys me, but its the drunkards that yell on the streets at about 2am, singing and talking. The gurls will be shrieking like there is no tommorow with their really ear-aching shrill voice, attracting attention and to get noticed perhaps? as you travel along cowgate, it can be an eye opener. for one end leads to grassmarket which used to be an excecution place as i was told. Grassmarket provides a great view of the castle, and shops with vibrant colours mushroom around a small square? A variety of shops ranging from hat sellers to costume shops dotted along the sides are intriguing! moving from grassmarket down cowgate pass the pubs, as you walk pass kincaids court, (a route i always travel when heading to the gym on pleasance, there are beautifully preserved cobbled roads going up steeply leading to higher streets. Past these little roads there is always a modern looking building with high tech barriers never fails to catch my eye, maybe because of the barriers or the 'you will be prosecuted sign if u tresspass' sign. strangely enough this is were i went just today! and to my surprise, that building.. yes that high tech looking place is non other than the.. CITY MORGUE ahhaha! ironically across cowgate of there is a church on the far left, St patricks, nestled at the end of the street, which is absolute a quaint wee place of serenity.....
